Leanne Rahel is a writer, critic, and translator. They are interested where écriture feminine and otaku studies intersect. They hold an MA in Critical and Cultural Theory from the University of Leeds, where they were supervised by student and scholar of Hélène Cixous Dr. Eric Prenowitz.

They use a Zenit EM and a Cosmic Symbol for photography. They have a working proficiency of English, Japanese, and Malayalam and an embarassing inability to speak Hindi-Urdu without any of the other three coming out instead.
